Depending on the interaction of the bearing tolerances, there are sometimes switching irregularities. Tests have shown that you have a clearer / crisper shift point with the shift shaft support. Why sliding or roller bearings? The output shaft has 0.04 -0.06mm undersize. Therefore a roller bearing is only in contact with the shaft with one roller (max. 2). Precise guidance is therefore not guaranteed. A plain bearing has much more contact surface here and is better suited for the short movements. Rusting of the rollers is also not possible. The plain bearing is absolutely weather resistant.
